Blog Show reunion on the DL.  We talk with Jamie Mottram – aka Mister Irrelevant – and Dan Steinberg, in a lengthy yet hilarious interview.  (Note: this show is long, so we had to compress it more than usual.  If that annoys you, email me and I’ll send you a better version).

We talk with Jamie first, about his career and what it’s like being one of the real power players in the sports blog universe, having started AOL’s Fanhouse, and now running Yahoo! Sports blog division.

We ask Jamie why he decided to leave the DC area for North Carolina, and if he thinks that will impact his blog.  We also talk about ESPN and their lack of real presence in the blog world. And I think at one point, I beg Jamie for a job.

Steinberg comes in to talk about the end of Blog Show.  We talk about the run of that show, discuss the Erin Andrews interview and find out that Dan never watches himself.  That’s a shock.

We ask Dan about Jemele Hill’s suspension, and if he thinks Hitler jokes are funny.  Then we finish up with some Olympics talk, before Jamie and Dan officially take the show over.  Great stuff.
